EagleEye Forecasting

Questions owners ask before they start

What is a 13-week cash flow forecast?

A week-by-week projection of the cash coming into and going out of your business over the next quarter, built from your actual invoices, bills, payroll schedule and bank balances. It shows ending cash for each week so you can see shortfalls before they happen.

Why 13 weeks?

Thirteen weeks is one quarter. It is about as far ahead as your real receivables, payables and payroll reach, so the forecast stays grounded in actual transactions. Banks and lenders also commonly ask for this format.

Do I need a 13-week forecast if my business is profitable?

Often, yes. Profit and cash arrive at different times. A profitable business can still come up short in a week when payroll, rent and supplier bills land before customers pay.

We already have an accountant. Why would we need this?

Most outside accountants focus on the books, payroll and taxes, which look backward. A cash forecast looks forward. We work alongside your accountant and use the reports they already produce.

What do you need from us?

Usually your accounts receivable and payable aging reports, recent bank activity, your payroll schedule and a short conversation about upcoming plans. Read-only access to your accounting software makes it faster.

How long does setup take?

Setup timing depends on your data. Monthly updates are delivered on a date we agree in writing.

Are you a CPA firm?

No. We provide cash forecasting and accounting support. We do not provide audit, review, attest or tax services.

Can we start with a one-time projection?

Yes. The Single tier is a one-time 13-week projection. Many clients start there and move to monthly updates if it proves useful.
